That's What I Think

THe Managers here at the RV park kept saying, "Oh the guy in 18 is going to leave". Or "The guy in 17 is about ready to go". Or "The guy in 5 will only be her another 2 days".
So we decided we wanted #5. It had more tree shade and is right across from the pet area! Also very close to the pool.
When we found out it was available they gave us one hour notice. Eeeep! We shabanged it out of ole number 84 and pulled it trailer and belongings to new #5. In a matter of two hours we were set up and in our new spot. Yay, a paved site, no cotton thorns, and, o'boy, real close to the pet area. What could be better!
Then I stepped on a thorn!! OUCH! Maybe not free of the thorns quite yet. Damn.
It is better here and closer to laundry as well. I never thought I'd be back to feeding $1.50 to a washing machine just for one load of clothes, having to tote the basket back and forth, and carry my detergent/softener to and fro. Blech. Hey, it isn't all flowers and breezes. But what the heck.
So we are now settled. Enjoying the evenings and weekends. Exploring the town and the other cities nearby. Getting ready to try the one burger joint in Boardman...
It rains here...very softly. And it doesn't diminish the warmth of the air. I have no need to don a coat in this rain. Some of the people here say, "Hey where's your coat!" But I just tell them...I'm from the west where if you can't handle rain you might as well never do anything. Rain from where I come from is cold and supported by wind..they go hand in hand. Rain here, HA, it aint nothin'.
So its Friday and finally time for a Separator! Cheers, Karla
