New Story Line

Background on upcomming stories
Being more of a novelist than a writer of short stories, I've been worried that I will soon run out of stories to post here at Author's Den. This concern has been amplified by the recent upsurge in my "novelist" work.
Today, as I was taking my morning walk (I live in a very beautiful place where walking is more of a treat than a chore.) the solution to my short story problem came to me. (No, it did not come in a blinding light of revelation. It came in the regular way - with my inner self whispering suggestions to my other, outer self.) But I digress.
My inner self asked, "Why not publish my most recent novel, A History of Life, in short story form, right here on Author's Den?" My outter self said, "Hey! That's a great idea!"
A History of Life is made up of four novellas, which are loosely tied together, so this is a perfect book to be read by the installment plan.
And so it shall be. Starting sometime next week I will be posting the first of these stories. I do not like to make brash timely promises, so I will not commit to the exact date. HOWEVER, since I'm all enthused with this keen idea, I CAN promise it will be soon. What I WILL promise, is that once I start posting stories, I will continue posting them on a frequent basis until the entire book has been made available.
I think that's a pretty neat deal - an entire book, absolutely free!
Now, I must get back to my regular work, or I'll never have time to post that first story. All my best, my friends. And, please, do keep coming back!
