my major life change...
Welcome to my den!
It has been said by a very wise man, that there is a time and season for everything under the sun.
It's also a well established fact that, that wise man got his wisdom from GOD. Remember Solomon?
Why am I bringing this up?
because in just a few more months, I am set to retire from a job I've had for over 22 years. I've waited upon the Lord to decide when and if to retire, and the time is right.
I will have more time to write, and read what others write.
Also, if the Lord allows me to, I would have the freedom to travel and do readings of my poetry, and book-signings etc.
I've worked since I was a kid, so this kind of freedom will be new to me, but I intend to trust the LORD to schedule my newly acquired free time. He is a MASTER scheduler. I'm not good at knowing how to manage my time and resources, but the Creator of Heaven and Earth is a total GENIUS. In Isaiah it is written that God never takes time off. He never grows weary. And He is completely approachable through Jesus Christ, and is never bothered by our demands upon His time. I intend to take full advantage of His generosity.
Well, I'm getting ready to visit residents in a nursing home, so I've got to go for now. I'm on my day off from work, so I'm relaxing today. Hope you're doing well, and I invite you to visit my den anytime, any day or night. my den door is always open. :)
