Ten reviews would be a huge amount for me Karen LOL, but remember my friend it is not what others are saying it is the message the Lord has put on your heart

Can sure tell you love each other and that message stands out loudly and clearly. I am envious and I love to read both of you. I'm fortunate to get 10 reviews but I value them so much too and enjoy having the time to respond to them. I've made some real friends here even tho I only have 13 trackers. I count what blessings I have, and you and your sister are two of them. Blessings and hugs, J'nia

Karen -- I thought long and hard about a response and I'm probably going to hurt your feelings. So, I'm saying this with love and compasion: You're full of shit!

I can't belive you bark at us for reviewing your WORK, no matter if it's a poem or a story. If you don't want your verses read/reviewed, why post them? Come on; you must admit - you really didn't make much sense here.

I read and review when I have the time. Of course I wish I could spend more time on the den, but I have responsibilities which don't allow me to trail off into den-land half a day. So if I do come across your opetry, I read it, just like your sister's.
And when it comes to your stories: I think you are an excellent story-teller, but your stories deeply depress me. I understand and I appreciate that you have to live with a handicap and that your heart goes out to people who are also handicapped and underpriveledged. My husband's 6-year old niece is dying of a very rare white matter disease. She is deteriorating before our very eyes - so you can say that I'm neglecting your stories - I don't care. But when I'm here at the den, I like to see that goodness about life, I choose to read and comment on positive things in life. I suffer watching this kid die, I don't want to suffer more through sad stories of handicapped and ill people.

I love your spirit, and your sister's as well, and after throwing a blog like your's at me, I hope you can live with this response.

Take care,
Becca~

Karen:

It's nothing to be upset about.

Some new authors do not know that you didn't want your poetry reviewed; and in the goodness of their hearts they spent time in reading your poetry and commenting on them just because YOU probably have commented on THEIR poetry.

I often comment back on the authors who have commented on my poems. It's just a courtesy thing for them to do to comment you back.

If you don't want your poems to be reviewed, then I suggest just delete them all and just keep your stories.

If you keep your poems there, the new authors are bound to comment on them once you've commented on theirs. It comes natural to many to just return you with a comment. So I don't think it's a thing that you should be upset about. After all the comments have come from the goodness of their hearts. They have spent time to reading and commenting on your poems.

I think if you don't want further comments to your poetry, the best thing is to delete them all. Then everybody won't be commenting on them.

I don't even mind if anyone is commenting on my work, because they have spent the time to reading them. In my opinion, I'd love more comments on my stories, but I know many do not have the time to read my stories, and that is okay by me if they just want to read my poems. I appreciate any comments and suggestions. We are here to learn and to make friends. Never mind so much about who's getting reviews on what, and who's doing much better on what, and who does worse on what. It's all a learning process for everyone.

I hope you have cooled down already. Hahaha!!!!! Give me a smile, girl! :o)

First of all as I have often stated in the past, reviews are not meant and should never be taken as a sign of how good we are as writers. They are meant to be used to find out what we are doing wrong, what we are doing write, what we could do to improove etc. do not want it reviewed.

Karen,
If you really don't want us to read or write reviews, why do you post them. I spend a lot of time reading and commenting on friend's works--time that could be spent writing my own stuff--so I don't know what you want from me?

NO!! Flat No Kiddo, ok. You can write Poetry, and you should. You were given a talent from God, and you should use it. Don't worry about whether or not Karla is getting the reviews or not, and don't worry about looking as though you are knocking Karla off her perch. The simple fact is, you both are enourmously talented, in your own individual ways, and this should NEVER be suppressed.
I see you are full of anxiety over this, and wish you please, take a few deep breaths, count to ten, look at your reviews, and say to yourself...I did good, and be happy with this.
You only get one crack at it in this life, and if you miss it, it's gone.
We love you both, and your styles of work, so that be the end of it ya hear :)
Hey would you stop reading me if I said so.. and what would you do if I stopped writing my style of poetry etc????
EH. C'mon Sweetie, Relax. Now after having said that, I better find the Poem that has got you all dizzied up :):)
I'm on it.
Love yah heaps, and if you don't keep writing poetry, I'm coming over there, with a couple of Tassie Devils in the crate heehee.

I love you girls as you are blessing to all of us. Please pray about this nad be glad fo what God gave you. If we all wrote Harry Potter, we would be getting the reviews. So let us get REAL with the reviews and help each other BE better writers, so people will respond more the way that we think they should. Let me know how I can help, as I said, I love you and Karla.

You are both amazing people and writers, and things wouldn't be the same without you. So don't make spank you both~love always, Starman.

Gosh girls now you have me feeling really bad as I love writing poetry and I put my heart and soul into it. you are here complaning about 20, 50 and more reviews and I am lucky to get 10 and I was thinking that was great. If you think you got problems with your writing then I may as well give up. I write because I love to write and share what I write. I can't be doing reviews all day long and often when people write more then one I have to skip it so I can review others. Smile Girls and accept what others offer you their time as we know time is precious.

Karen,

You're obviously doing something right when it comes to your poetry. I'd love to have 50 or more, considering I've over 130 trackers, lucky if I get 20 per.

I will not stand in your way. If you want to write poetry, write it.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
