Summary: Slide presentation of a visit to the Armenian Churches in India, on the occasion of the 300th anniversary celebration of Holy Nazareth Armenian Church.
Details:

Armenians have been one of the earliest traders on the silk route. They were called "the merchant princes of India". Armenian communities have flourished in India particularly from the early 17th century forward and have enjoyed special trading privileges . The slide presentation involves a recent group pilgrimage (November 2008) to India, particularly to Kolkata (ex-Calcutta) and Chennai (Bombay).
