Support our teens as they present poetry, spoken word and visual art at the Prince George's Ballroom, Landover, MD.
Cafe Groove is a teen coffee house open mic event presented by MNCPPC. Each event is hosted by poet Jahipster and this month features Kentland Community Center's very own teen group, Swagger Like Us. This evening of visual and aural expression will feature the unique presentations and competion between area teens. Performances will be recorded for subsequent viewing on the MNCPPC Cafe Groove YouTube site. The Open Mic and the Visual Art competition will be judged by family and friends that come out to cheer on their favorite artist and/or poet. $3 admission for non-participants.
