The pop-up blocker prevents new windows from automatically opening when you visit a website. Often times, these new windows display advertising that can interfere with your ability to see the content on the page you're trying to read. Most pop-up blocker will display an icon with the number of pop-ups blocked.

If when you attempt to "Add a Poem" or other work a little box with a
red Delete cross comes up, then you have a blocker working.

You will need to deactivate the blocker or change the settings on the blocker to allow pop-ups on the AuthorsDen page.
