Steve Leshin Announces Release of Vengeance of the Ripper on Amazon.com
Tuesday, August 11, 2009  6:34:00 PM

by Steve Leshin

Action/Thriller
The historical fictional novel offers new theories about the identity of Jack The Ripper, involving Wyatt Earp, the royal family, and President Theodore Roosevelt.

Manchester, CT, July 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Leshin presents a new twist on Jack The Ripper. What if he escaped from London after his Whitechapel murders? The Ripper was never caught and many theories exist as to the identity of the killer. In his novel "Vengeance of the Ripper" Jack the Ripper, the first famously known serial killer escapes after his murderous rampage in London and shows up years later in Los Angeles. Three prostitutes are murdered in the city in the span of a few nights. At the same time legendary lawman, Wyatt Earp, settling in the city, receives a letter beyond the grave from his old friend, Doc Holliday. Wyatt and his wife, Josephine, are led to the outskirts of the city, where they find more than they bargained for. Soon Wyatt must race against time to stop the Ripper from claiming another victim-Josephine. Wyatt enlists the aide of good friend, Bat Masterson, another western legend.

The author's research reveals Wyatt Earp and his wife did live in L.A. during this period and was involved a bit with police work while a citizen there.
