Memoir

I wasn’t prepared for baldness, even though it infected my father and uncles. During my early thirties, lumps of hair filled the bathroom drain as my hairline retreated like vanquished soldiers during a hopeless war. It came at a horrible time, too. My marriage, of ten years, was failing. In hopes of reviving my wife’s interest, I invested in a rug.

“The Outing of Señor Pelon” is a 1000-word memoir telling the story of hair loss and how it affected my life. It is a story to which millions of men can relate.
