I found this marketing idea from Lorilyn below very good to have a chance to market our books and make some sales.

Once we have around 200 authors, I will activate the Network with a Facebook launch and Yahoo Users Group.
Your question, how will my work be promoted: When you do a book launch, you can use the Network to help launch a book on Amazon or Barnes & Noble. The Network is specifically for promotional purposes during a 24-hour period of time to raise your book's rankings on Amazon and/or Barnes and Noble, whichever you prefer.
The promotion will be to entice people to buy your book within that period of time to raise your rankings to best-seller status in one of the sub-categories on Amazon or Barnes & Noble, depending on where you direct people to buy your book.
Any promotional materials will be at your direction. For instance, you would need to contact people individually on the Network to see if they would be willing to send a promotion about your book during that 24-hour period either on a social networking site or to their email list. It would be up to you to provide them with the exact wording you would want them to send out. And if you wanted to provide free e-gifts to purchasers of your book during that 24-hour period, you would ask those who agreed to help in your book launch if they had a free e-gift they could give away during the 24-hour period. You would have to provide a landing page for prospective buyers to go to to receive their free e-gifts. All wording of announcements would be provided by you -- in other words, as an example, it would be up to you to send the wording of the tweet to those willing to help. The Network members would send out what you provided to them.
Before we activate the Network, I will have a Facebook online event to help explain all the details, but the Nuts and Bolts article explains this also in more detail. I would recommend you check it out at the above website.
