The Boy Next Door (continued)
Saturday, April 12, 2008  6:37:00 AM

by Robert Amoroso

Action/Thriller
I wanted to take a moment and share with you an email that I just received from my son Jay, who is currently in LA, promoting The Boy Next Door.

The Boy Next Door (continued)

If you recall I showcased Jayson’s screenplay several months ago.

At that time, I wasn’t able to share much information, because of the obvious sensitivity and the overall process. Jayson of course has been networking for months in LA,  meeting with a host of industry professionals, from financial bakers, lawyers, managers, actors, producers…the list goes on and on.

Obviously, I’m extremely proud of Jayson’s tenacity, and his ability to ferret out fact from fiction. He’s learned quickly (and I hope I had some influence) that there are no short cuts, and disappointments are part of the process. As writers, and artists we all understand the fragile nature of what we do.

Dad, can you post this on Authorsden please:

THE BOY NEXT DOOR

Donnie Walhberg and Macaulay Culkin have both expressed interest in starring in The Boy Next Door.

Donnie for the Harvey The Tow Truck Driver role and Macaulay for the Nathan Riley role. We are shooting for Matt Dillon or Kevin Bacon for the Kearns role.We are hoping to shoot by the end of the summer
