Radio show host Maxine Thompson asked Pamela what made her write the historic fiction novel based on the Shawnee tribe. Her reply was simple, “The depth of spirituality, of belief, the beauty of cultures and traditions, it was far too great a gift for the world to lose. How do you bring back something so precious that is lost forever? How do you stop your heart from aching from the injustices of mankind? There is only one way, when a writer speaks from their heart and soul then future generations will hear the cries from lost nations, and hopefully not make the same mistakes as their ancestors.
This is the vision, which emerges from beyond the stars, to rise from the spirit of dreaming.
