New E-Book You Can't Hide From God
Thursday, October 04, 2012  4:17:00 PM

by Debbie A Lacy

Religion
Hence,God sees all and knows all, therefore we can’t hide anything from HIM.

EXCERPT: Laura Douglas, a rich entrepreneur and impeccably dressed, gets out of her high-priced automobile at the shopping mall where she encountered a frail little man begging for some food to eat. Her first assumption was that he was on drugs and fictitiously disguised himself as being hungry just to prey on people for money to buy more drugs, as she callously stepped over him to enter the department store. “Get a job!” She uttered as she scowled at him listening as he beseech her. She spent the afternoon buying expensive jewelry and a couple of thousand dollar dresses, which she already had a closet full of them with the price tags still attached. After her expensive shopping spree, she wandered into an upscale restaurant in the mall and ate lavishly. Before leaving, she tipped her waiter a twenty dollar bill for his extraordinary fast and friendly service in waiting on her. Upon her leaving the mall, the frail little man confronted her again saying, “Please Ma’am! You look like an upright citizen, would you please help me? I haven’t eaten in days and all I’m asking is for you to buy me some food. Would you please help me?” Laura quickly glanced at the little frail man and said, “No! I don’t have time for all that right now! You look pretty healthy to me, while you’re wasting time sitting here begging for people’s money, you could be working in someone’s kitchen, washing cars or something! Just get a damn job man!!” She scold walking away. The little frail raggedy man watched as she drove away, holding on to a post to pull himself up with one arm and one leg from sitting on the ground and sadly murmured, “I wish I could work but no one wants to hire me.” According to Scripture: Matthew 22:39 “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Romans 13:10 “Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.” Proverbs 28:27 “He who gives to the poor will not lack, But he who hides his eyes will have many curses.”  Now Available on Amazon, Barnes&Noble, ITunes, IBookstores, Kobo and other online bookstores
