Author Johnny Bodley has been contacted by a German journalist in regards to that country doing a portrayal of his life and his work with AIDS and HIV. He is very excited that the word is getting out there about AIDS.

Dear Mr. Bodley,

I don't know whether you remember: we met in March in Selma, Alabama, I did a story on the 40th anniversary of the Bloody Sunday march.

My name is Claudia and I'm a journalist working for the german public radio.

I am very much interested in portraying you and your life - and would like to know if it's possible during the next weeks. My story would be about AIDS and your work, so for me it would be best if I could go with you to a prison where you talk about AIDS prevention to the inmates. (You said you work a lot with people in prisons).
