The war in Sierra Leone, West Africa, that lasted for ten years-1991-2001 (officially) cost a lot of lives and property. Beyond that those who survived it (like myself) have a lot to share to the world so that we as a family should look out for one anouther.
It is sad that most times the western world do not take the wars in Africa seriously. In this report or article, I will be bring to light the ordeals that the people of Sierra Leone went through, especially the women and children. This is not to open a closed wound, but rather for us to know and learn from our mistakes, especially the international committee, who are presently delaying the intervention in Libya; thereby lots of lives are being lost. We should see ourselves as families, no matter the colour of our skin or our dialect....we are all one, created by one God and from one source-DUST!
