Flying next Saturday

11/8/2014 7:50:00 PM

by Helen J Vandepeer

What I can expect on my long haul flight next week.
Flying for more than 24 hours is not my idea of a fun time. Cramps in the legs... tacky food and a really large man with oversized biceps to overhang into my small space sitting next to me. Oh how lucky can I get. Cattle class they call it; cattle would revolt if they were so cramped and squished into such tiny spaces as the airlines allow their passengers.

"The passengers are revolting. I know but we need the sales to keep the line in the air."

Such a terrible thing they do to a person. You walk onto the plane and are directed to your seat by such a nice smiley face. Your own return smile fades quickly as you stumble with all the extra luggage you are not even trying to hide. More than one bag in the hold has to be paid a premium price for.You are of course being directed through business class with it's seats that become beds and where your every want is the airlines need to comply.
" Juice or Champagne Ma'am"

I grit my teeth and stumble on knowing that my mostly ice water will be coming my way in about an hour when we are well and truly in the air.
Holiday, this news post should be in a crime and horror be continued if I survive.
