Mois Benarroch has been granted the Prime Minister Literary prize for the year 2008. The prize includes the sum of 65,000 sheqels (17,000$) and is one of the most prestigious literary prizes in Israel.
Mois (Moshe) Benarroch (Tetuan, Morocco, 1959) writes in three languages: Hebrew, Spanish and English and his poetry has been published in hundreds of magazines and anthologies worldwide. He has published 10 books of poetry and 4 novels in Hebrew, Spanish and English.
