Excerpt from Aria Kalsan-Book One-The Notification novella:
"They walked single-file behind the woman and gaped in awe when they saw a dark blue spacecraft sitting in the middle of the spacious hangar. Feeling suddenly diminutive, they huddled a bit closer together. Another woman with auburn hair trailing down her back greeted them with her right index finger to her forehead. She smiled sweetly and Marnette thought how strange it looked, since she’d never seen a Kalsan smile before. The two Kalsan women motioned for the girls to wait where they were and disappeared behind the craft.
Biting her lip nervously, Tenka nudged Marnette. “What are we waiting for?”
“How would I know? Did you see how that redheaded woman smiled? Didn’t that seem strange to you?” Marnette said more to Cami than to Tenka.
With a shrug, Cami whispered, “I didn’t pay any attention. I just want to get inside that ship shuttle and sit down, my head hurts. What was that she did to us anyway?”
