| Now before y'all get any stupid ideas about me changing my sexuality, (I may be a bit wild and crazy but I ain't that crazy. . .there's certain parts of the male anatomy I am not willing to go without if I live to be 101.) |
I'm looking for professionals who want to be more than a source for a paycheck and give back to people without desiring a lot of fanfare. We have enough blowhards in Washington D.C. This is a serious call with a serious group of serious women, and since my desire is to speak to people all over the world as an inspirational motivator and encourager, I'm goin' global with request right here and now: Get ready to share it and do it.
For the Month of May, The Women and Male WEA HEROs of Women Entrepreneurs of America Inc. launched our Annual Membership Drive.
Authors other than myself who are WEA members and supporters are:
WEA Sistah Chandra Brown: www.thesoulofasurvivor.org WEA and best-selling writer Sistah Martha (Marti) Tucker: The Mayor's Wife Wore Sapphires (Bio) www.urbanclassicbooks.com/bio.html
and we want MOREwriters of both genders to become WEA Sistahs and WEA HEROS!
Before you say "I don't have the time". . . .WEA is about leveraging time, a little at a time, sistah to sistah. It's about giving back as individuals and as a collective group of professionals and community-focused leaders around the globe.
WEA is a matter of the Heart, and the Heart of WEA is reaching out to assist you however we can.
Your membership dollars will make a difference is through the WEA Women In Transition Program that has already helped women in the Indianapolis & Cleveland areas replace chaos with calmness and fearfulness with faith by esaping abuse of all kinds, especially those who have just left prison rehab or who struggle with chemical abuse. We also do workshops all over the country. My own testimony--as a writer and an online travel business owner with YTB Travel & Cruises, especially YTB's charity program for non-profits-- is that WEA is different that any other organization specifically for women in this area. My observations are:
1. WEA doesn't just "meet and eat and greet" but has serious simple and easy to implement fun programs that have already proven themselves life changing for women and young girls needing guidance.
2. WEA is all about birthing business and blessing beyond measure. That has already happened with a safe house being provided for a program called Women In Transition The purpose of this program is easy:
Bring out the beauty of the mind, body and spirit of every woman, and create a cycle of generational hope with generational inner and outer wealth.
3. No qualifications are needed except for the fact that if you feel in the past you have proven yourself time and again as a person who believes in empowering and supporting women in this community, then I have a hunch that you would be very refreshed by attending an upcoming convention in Las Vegas this August. (Details on the WEA website link below.)
What I absolutely LOVE about the women of WEA is the freedom of being a part of an organization that is so much like my own business. . . no time demands, and being able to give as little or as much as one chooses.
And it's easy to give to an organzation like WEA without feeling "meeting overload" while at the same time making a significant difference with our collective knowledge. You can continue the work of this international organization founded and supported by SISTAHS OF ALL COLORS by becoming a member today.
And guys can also support as a WEA HERO! So ladies, nominate your next of kin or a very good friend who is a business minded man who helps women and is not afraid of the word "platonic", and let's do all we can to help everyone excel! We don't want to replace men's leadership at all, but we want to work along side men who respect and honor strong women from every nationality who are gifted leaders from all walks of life.
Now thru May 31, 2007: MEMBERSHIP ENTRY FEE INCENTIVE! WEA's twelve-month membership of $45 is now only $30 (most meetings have lunches that cost more than that just to meet once a month!) then we welcome your membership. You deserve to benefit from what so many women cannot receive on their j.o.b.'s . . .(In an earlier version this word turned out "Terry, join us, so if your first name is "Terry" then "Terry, join us!"). WEA is unconditional support.
And only for $30 tax deductible dollar bills. So believing in all that you do in this area, allow me to be the first to say. . . We Honor Your Membership & Welcome Aboard to WEA!!
So if you have a heart WEA invites you to share this with other women (and men!), and lets keep WEA busy about doing good things for women everywhere.
God Bless You! Click www.freewebs.com/weainc and see what we're about. Looking forward to you becoming one of our supporting Sistahs of this more than worthy team of women creating change with each life they touch.
