Nominated for inclusion in March 2002 for the 57th edition of Who's Who In America, it was recently announced that Pagan writer Gary R. Varner, author of Essays in Contemporary Paganism and Sacred Wells, has been accepted.
The letter of congratulations from the publisher noted "because of the value of your outstanding achievements, the editors of Marquis Who's Who have selected your biographical profile for inclusion in the forthcoming 57th Edition of Who's Who in America. This unique compilation will chronicle the country's most accomplished men and women who are leading us forward in the 21st century."
The Board of Directors who participated in the selection process included Steven C. Beering, President Emeritus of Purdue University, author and photographer Jill Krementz, Louis Rukeyser, economic commentator, and author Elie Wiesel.
The 57th edition of Who's Who in America will be available in print, CD-ROM and on the internet November 2002.
