Artificial intelligence learns from poker bluff
The Carnegie Mellon University(CMU) team created an algorithm that was able to read many situations that could occur based on the sequence of cards being dealt from the deck, what the opponents' cards might be and what betting sequence could occur. The work could lead to the use of artificial intelligence in real-world applications such as negotiating and bargaining, said Tuomas Sandholm, who led the CMU team.
