| Not your average book of poetry. |
Author Lizz Clements has published her second collection of poetry and reflections. The book, entitled Apollo Weeps, is the follow up to her second book, Car Chases & Fake Bologna.
"I hadn't planned on publishing another book of poetry so quickly," comments the author. "But the material was there and it was just itching to be read."
The book, named after one of the 45 poems included therein, is longer and more articulate than the one before it. In addition to poetry, Apollo Weeps features 13 extensive journal entries and five "musings" - contemplative articles similar to journal entries but written about one subject in particular.
"What made my last book so unique were the diary entries," says Clements. "It's what made the book worthwhile to so many readers. They could identify with what I was writing on a more personal basis.
"I've had readers tell me Car Chases & Fake Bologna changed their lives," the 20-year old author continues. "I'm not sure I believe it, but I at least know I'm doing something right."
Apollo Weeps may be purchased through the usual means- at your local bookstore and online. The book also has its own website, where visitors may purchase signed copies: http://apolloweeps.lizzclements.com
