Putting Thoughts to Paper
WHAT: A one-day beginning class in becoming inspired to write and finding the storyteller in every one of us. The course will incorporate all the stages of writing, leading to a finished work.
Writing Seminar II
The Magic Tricks of Writing
WHAT: A one-day intermediate course on the specifics of writing and the tricks of the trade that writers use to write more powerful pieces of prose. Participants will practice incorporating these techniques into a final piece.
WHEN: July 9, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Writing I)
July 23, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Writing II)
or
July 30, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Writing I)
WHERE: At a guesthouse on the banks of the Santa Fe River near High Springs, Florida
COST: $80, includes workbook and lunch
REGISTRATION: Each seminar is limited to five participants. Availability in the classes are on a first come, first serve basis. Registration must be completed by June 25.

WHAT TO BRING:
• Yourself, of course, dressed in your most comfortable clothes;
• A notebook of some type — this is truly personal choice. It could be a journal, a legal pad, or scratch paper (you will be provided with a spiral notebook with paper and handouts at the opening session);
• A writing utensil — again this is your own personal choice;
• If you are more comfortable writing on a laptop, by all means bring it.
