Edmonton author, Cheryl Kaye Tardif, will be a guest on 'Liquid Chatter Talk Radio', CJSR FM 88, this Thursday, November 18th from midnight on.
Hosts Mike and Erika will be discussing various topics with the author. Tardif is an advocate of literacy and writing, especially with Alberta's youth. She has been invited to discuss the challenges of Alberta writers with MLA Gene Zwozdesky sometime in late November or December.
On 'Liquid Chatter', Tardif will be talking about the success of her debut novel, Whale Song, which is currently being considered for a movie option by a Canadian Executive Producer. Whale Song, which was published last year by Trafford Publishing, has made an impact on the local youth. Although the story is appealing to readers of all ages, Whale Song deals with issues facing many of our youth today. Racism, bullying, family, tragedy and forgiveness are all aspects of this multi-cultural, multi-generational novel that features Bamfield, Victoria and Vancouver as its main locales.
The author's recent new release, Divine Intervention, will also be featured in the discussion. Divine Intervention, the first in Tardif's new 'psi-fi' suspense thriller series, has been favorably compared to the best-selling series by US author J.D. Robb (Nora Roberts' pen-name). A reviewer recently was quoted as stating that Cheryl Kaye Tardif "is the Canadian J.D. Robb".
Tune in to CJSR FM 88 this Thursday at midnight! Listeners will have the chance to win an autographed copy of Whale Song and Divine Intervention!
