Earlier this year publisher, Julianna Ross of The Builder's Journal, hired Susan Wingate as a contributing writer for the Seattle publication of its national magazine.

The Builder's Journal is a trade magazine for building contractors throughout the U.S. Wingate will be writing building-related articles that incorporate a combination of interviews and research in this defined area.

Check out the May 2008 issue for Wingate's article about "green landscaping." It may seem like an oxymoron but because of a negative reaction by consumers to chemical pesticides and fertilizers, a reversion to the old-fashioned way of landscaping is taking hold. Consumers are becoming more in-tuned to the health of the earth these days and that conscience is flowing outward to those who provide the services.
