Authors, J Robert Whittle and Joyce Sandilands will publish their first collection of short stories entitled, Yesterdays early in 2010. Expected in 2009, due to unforeseen circumstances, it missed their usual fall deadline, but is now expected to be released in mid-March.
Whittle's 10th novel will be comprised of stories of his life, short novels on many subjects (including several featuring a special ghost) and a main feature which will be his first western. A horse trainer himself from a young age, he has always loved being around horses and was an avid Louis L'Mour reader as a youngster in England. As TV got popular and work schedules didn't allow time for reading, he became a John Wayne fan and still watches reruns of all the old westerns.
Whittle and Sandilands became a writing team in 2007 when they won their 2nd publishing IPPY from the Independent Publisher Contest for Whispers Across Time, a unique ghost story about a time-travelling mortal angel who meets ghosts and has a cross-century romance with a lady from present day.
Their most recent book, Race For a Treasure, has not disappointed his readers who continue to request new books from this 76-year-old author who refuses to disappoint his fans.
