How sweet it is!

| A monster sweet potatoe came up out of my garden. |
I like to start my day by going out to the garden to muse, think, and exercise before starting the day. It is a place of sweet repose, a good place to refresh my soul. Yesterday, I moved the foilage aside in my sweet potato bed and found a big bulge heaving up from the ground. After some excavation I came up with a monster sweet potatoe. It weighed 11 pounds and looked like a hog's head. If someone had told me this kind of stuff was possible I would not have believed them. "Nonsense," I would have said. "That's a fish tale that gets bigger with each telling." But it came up out of MY garden. I grew it. And my family will eat it. That is, after the newspaper people will have a look at it. Oh, how sweet it is going to be! How many sweet pototoe pies can I bake out of it!
