The third Sage Sweetwater Lesbian Western Screenplay to Film based on the novel by Blue Sleighty and Sage Sweetwater is geared to hit Triboro Pictures Development in June.
The screenplay is adapted by Sage Sweetwater, a Lesbian Western story based on a magnificent horse, the reincarnation of the equine mount of Seminole Chief Abiaka in the Seminole War of 1838. The story takes off on a wild mustang roundup and fills the white of the page with Dominga Rio of Cuero, a hot Spanish lesbian who owns the Judas. The characters are many to include the historically accurate Shadow Wolves, A U.S. Customs Native American tracker unit of illegal immigrants and the Tick Riders, government border control unit on horseback managing tick control on livestock.
Sage Sweetwater is headed to Triboro Pictures Development Department sometime in late June with the screenplay for development for film. A post-Dominga scene had to be written in not included in the novel for a movie Tie-in with the sequel to Dominga Rio of Cuero, Madam Blaze Starr: Whiskey and Sagebrush Truth in Eights and Aces, which Sage is currently adapting the original Madam Blaze Starr manuscript to screenplay format.
Other Sweetwater intellectual properties are being developed by Triboro Pictures. Sage Sweetwater writes her Lesbian Western novels specifically for screen, patterning herself as the lesbian equivalent to American Western writer, Louis L'Amour. The historical research and simple storylines which tap into the cultural pulse is what gets her there!
