INVITATION FOR PARTICIPATION IN WRITERS FESTIVAL-INDIA-2006 March21-24,2006
Dear Poets/Writers
In October, 2004 we organized our first Writers Festival-India-2004 in Chandigarh and Shimla (India) which was a big success. The message of VASUDAIV KATUMBKAM (the whole world is our family), the India delivered thousands years ago is unparallel in the history of mankind all over the world. So continuing with our commitments for the cause of literature & culture, we will be organizing the 2nd Writers Festival-India-2006 on 21-24 March, 2006 Full details of Festival are available at our website:

However the salient features of the Festival are as under: Venue : 1. Kurukshetra (Haryana) 21 & 22 March, 2006 2. Yamuna Nagar (Haryana) 23 March, 2006 3. Haridwar (Uttra Anchal) 24 March, 2006
Theme : Poetry for Peace & Brotherhood with special focus on spreading the message of great Indian tradition of VASUDAIV KATUMBKAM (the whole world is our family.)
Languages : English & Hindi. (However the participating poet/writer can present the poetry/writings in any language of the world but he/she must provide us an English translation of the same for circulation among delegates and for publishing in the Anthology.)
Registration Fee Deadline : 31 December 2005. US $ 120 or equivalent Indian currency (includes free all meals + local transport + normal accommodation for the festival days) (50% of the Registration Fee is payable in advance by 31 December, 2005. Remaining amount to be paid in India.)

Though the deadline for Registeration is 31 December, 2005, I wish your immediate reply if you will be interested to participate in this Festival. And if so, what would you like to read: a)poetry b)speech or a paper c)share views on literature, etc etc.....
I also seek your fresh poems/short fiction for our literary journal Kafla Intercontinental, which is hopefully distributed free to selected individuals & institutions.
