| Just published. |
From cihldhood I heard about my father's encounter with Henry Ford, and I've written that adventure as a chapter in my memoir: Yesterplace: Blue Jeans and Pantaloons in Post WW II Georgia.
The title came from my aunt Susan Myrick's "teaching phrase" when she served as technical director of GWTW and used "four door Ford" to help Gable, Leigh, and others talk Georgian.
The encounter between my father and Ford left Ford slightly embarrassed.
The South Carolina Writers Wrokshop selected this nonfiction narrative for publication in Catfish Stew, Vol. IV (available from Amazon)
