A group of interested Long Islanders gathered at the Nesconset Library on June 26th, to listen to local author, Patti Ann Bengen, speak out on domestic violence and her most recent book, "New Beginnings."
"Domestic Violence is NOT a man against woman or woman against man thing . . . it is human being against human being. How unfortunate it is, and how needy our society has become.
A brief introduction to the author's newest release,"The Devil's Dance", was given. This novel is expected to be released in Oct or Nov. 2007.
