What a day !!! Drugs will do me in, Maybe not..LOL

When it rains it pours. What a bad day! We felt so sorry for our very good friend after he told us about his partner getting caught with addcition and abuse. One plus one equal poverty..

Local Physician to have hearing with state board.

Isn't this sad headlines? What really is stupid, he had the chance to straighten his act several times. You got that right, same old stuff. From what I personally saw he began by using his office supplies of demerol. That was handy and within reaching distance prn.

Wasn't long before he learned how to write prescriptions for,yep here comes those mainliners, Lortabs and OxyContin. He was ordering controlled substances directly from a wholesale distributor for self use.He acquired false prescriptions for himself by using the name of his private practice partner. He also acquired fradulent patient records so he could write himself prescriptions with fake patient's names.

It is the caught and the uncaught and I love it when the plan came together. If I was the judge I would put him to work sacking groceries the rest of his life and do his off time community services. What a waste for someone to give up his sacrifices he had for his education, profession and respect.

I will say one thing, a pharmacist is tempted every day with drugs. All my professional years I never gave in to the drugs on my shelves. When I worked undercover I was asked by an officer to take a couple of puffs off a joint to see how it taste and smelled so I could pick up on it if I needed to.That was the only two puffs.

So that began my day with the morning paper. This was my very good friend's partner and we all felt so sorry for all he was having to go through.

Next event came at lunch when another friend called to ask about her friend who was prescribed Lortabs and she was wondering if they would make her act strange?

You damn right, especially when she thinks if one makes her feel so good then two has gotta really do it!

Pulled me and my day down after all this commotion, muddied up my water  and I'll be damned if the guy that disturbed me picked that night to ask me about what he should do to get off of his Lortabs?

I turned that page and hope to slow down to get ready for eight book signings in the next month. If I can just get Fatal Addiction in an addicts hands I can wake him up. and possibly save his life.
