YA fantasy author Christine Norris, whose first book, Talisman of Zandria, was very well-received, is promoting the sequel in an unusual way. She's going on a world-wide book tour, all from the comfort of her own living room.
The Virtual Book Tour for Return to Zandria (LBF Books, ISBN-13: 978-1-885093-51-6, July 2008) runs between early July and early August, falling between the e-book and print releases. You'll see her name and the book's title all over the blogoshphere, doing interviews, and giving excerpts, posted on blogs of the gracious hosts, each of which become a 'stop' on the 'tour'.
The complete tour itinerary can be found on her website, on the Appearances page, and includes a contest. One lucky host will receive an Amazon gift certficate, and every person who commented on the post that featured the book will be put into a drawing for a free set of autographed books.
Return to Zandria is currently available in e-book format from the publisher for immediate purchase, and for pre-order in the print version. Official release for the print version is July 28.
