I was born in Gallipolis, Ohio. I am an x-ray/mammography technologist. I have a 12 year old daughter named Anna. I have been married for 9 years. I am a survivor of child molestation and rape.

I was asked to talk about my book at a local High School. I was nervous at first, but once I started talked to these kids about sexual abuse and how they can overcome it, the day went much easier. I connected with several kids. The teachers told me that I did a great job helping these kids.

"I Walked a Mile with Sorrow" was released in January. Iit is available though me and also on Amazon.com, barnes & noble, bookamillion, publishamerica.com, and many other online book companies.

I received a letter from First Lady Laura Bush commending me on my courage of writing about my experience so that I can help other victims.
