I am a 64 year old woman who has always enjoyed reading.

This is the first military book I have ever purchased or needless to say read. I was quite shocked to realize after starting to read the book, I could not put it down! From the very beginning you feel like you know this person personally.You feel sorrow when he does,laugh when he laughs, get mad at the times he does.

I will admit there is certain parts in the book that I had to skip over because I became too emotional to continue read.

I since have purchased 4 more books to give family and close friends whom also served in the Viet Nam Era.

This book, I am sure, tells exactly what they all went through also.

For a mere $24.95 it is the best investment in reading I have purchased in a long time.
