Kids Love A Mystery Program

John Prophet kicked off the Kids Love A Mystery Program in New Bedford, MA


John Prophet appeared at the Keith Middle School in New Bedford, MA to kick off the Kids Love A Mystery program. John spent the whole school day there and made seven presentations to classes of 7th and 8th graders. The presentation included explaining how mysteries are different from other books and how he wrote his five mysteries. He fielded interesting questions from students. The program runs for one month during which time students read mysteries. A reward of an "Eddy Certificate" from the Mystery Writers of America will be given at a luncheon on June 19th at Sam Diego's Restaurant in Hyannis, MA. Last year, it was a gala event. Over 20 students attended the luncheon. John Prophet will be there again this year to raffle off a set of his author-signed books. Other authors are being asked to attend as well.
