Fazer is an informal on-line music magazine that sees internet distribution of concert reviews, band interviews, and CD overviews to music-heads and concert junkies. Stellar photography accompanies most articles and interviews. The mag also runs contests and give-aways of concert tickets, signed CDs and other music related merchandise.
What began as well-syled monthly magazines in the form of PDF downloads has morphed into twice weekly postings of the most recent music news, in order to keep up with reader demand. Fazer scores high in a Google search of online music magazines, often times coming before the likes of Spin and Chart, and is now recognized by a vast circle of the music industry, including bands, management, and record labels. Readership has increased significantly over the past six months; as such, the magazine will soon expand from it's dot.ca location on the net to a dot.com
Laurie Lonsdale has been writing for the magazine for the past year, and on Monday October 27th/08 was stepped up as editor of the publication.
