Kristy Tallman Takes “The All-Soul’s Faire” to NecronomiCon
On October 5-7, 2007, Kristy Tallman, author of “The All-Soul’s Faire”, will be appearing at the NecronomiCon event at the Hyatt Regency in Tampa, Florida. Kristy will be appearing in panel discussions, signing books, and visiting for the first time with her fans in the Deep South.
“It’s wonderful that Kristy is getting a chance to spread her tour from Virginia to Florida. She’s not done though, determined to visit as many fans as she can she’s included points as far west as Utah, Colorado and points as far north as Pennsylvania so far. Her tour has just begun though as her writing is going to take her farther than she has ever dreamed of going.” Lauren Ferrell, CEO, Realm of Insanity Press.
“The All-Soul’s Faire” was released almost a year ago, and has gone on to receive rave reviews from horror fans and professionals alike. Aside from being nominated for literary awards Kristy is taking the horror world by storm being compared to greats such as Clive Barker, Dean Koontz, H.P. Lovecraft and even Hitchcook at his best. Her next book, “Crows on the Cross”, which is scheduled for release from Realm of Insanity Press in December of this year, was co-written by Malcolm Deeley, who resides in Treasure Island, Florida.
“Writing this novel with Kristy was a wild and powerful ride,” says Deeley. “She is a poet as well as a novelist, and the rich, rolling cadence of her poetic hand brings every page to vivid life. It is an intense, thrilling book.”
Malcolm Deeley has been a figure in the Florida literary scene for years, since coming to his adopted state in 1999. He and Kristy took part in a benefit poetry collection, “Nox: Dark Poets Against Abuse”, the proceeds from which were donated to CASA (Community Action Stops Abuse) of St. Petersburg, a safe haven organization for women and children in the Tampa Bay area.
