| (Many thanks to all who have helped so far. Ralph''s complete medical needs are as yet unknown, and there are so many more houndies who need help as well. It is never too late to help! Bless you!) |
The Ralph Update:
As most of you know, we had a crisis situation for an emaciated puppy named Ralph in a Sacramento Shelter. Many thanks go out to Teresa & Patrick Alsup who flew their plane to Sacramento, and picked Ralph up from the wonderful rescuer who had pulled him out of the shelter on Friday afternoon. Ralph flew into Agua Dulce Airpark on Sunday early evening -- private plane and all...
In the meantime, Devon Smith had so graciously made a donation page for Ralph so that his vet care fund would be ready for his unknown medical care. I can report that Ralph rides well in a private plane -- kisses like a champ and although reported to be four months old, may not be that old. For those who have donated, called, offered assistance -- Thank you! Here are Ralph's first photos of the beginning of the rest of his new life! We'll be updating everyone on Ralph as soon as we can...
Ralph's personal hero and private pilot, Patrick Alsup, is pictured holding him. All skin and bones with long spindly legs, Ralph is now safe at Daphneyland under the care of Basset Rescue Network! You can call, email, or personally check up on Ralph at the Daphneyland Hoedown next Saturday!
If you'd like to donate to help Ralph, and many other hounds (including Chance, a senior basset who very nearly never got a second chance at life), you can do so via Daphneyland's website, or through Ralph's and/or Chance's page!
