Lili Dauphin and her book of poetry, I Will Touch the Sun, have been awarded The 2008 Irwin Award for Best Inspirational Campaign.

Lili Dauphin and her book of poetry, I Will Touch the Sun, have been awarded The 2008 Irwin Award for Best Inspirational Campaign.

A prolific and colorful author, Lili Dauphin’s earlier works include the popular autobiographical novel: Crying Mountain, I Will Fly Again, My First Sins, and others. When asked why she is compelled to write, she said, “Writing is my passion . . . my heart. Perhaps, I’m being selfish, but inspiring others to be happy appears to be my calling. It makes me happy.”

She is now in the process of writing her seventh book. When asked about how she finds time to write so many books, Lili coyly answered, “I write in my sleep.”
