| The SS Ethie and the Hero Dog, a true story of bravery, ingenuity and a study in human nature, has hit the 1,000 copy sales mark. |
The story of a 1919 shipwreck on the shores of western Newfoundland follows the travels of a silver and leather HERO collar which was awarded to the owner of the dog involved, or not, with the rescue of the 92 persons from the foundered ship. The collar and its owners travelled from Newfoundland to Wrangell Island, Alaska, where the author found the collar in the rafters of a road house bar.
The book is written in an adventure and historical tale format and is read by all ages from 9-90 years.
