The first book by altruistic publisher Piggys Ink is heading towards publication with a photograph by Sue Phillips used in the cover illustration.
The Gravy Queen is a collection of poetry and prose by members of Authors Den. Heading up the enterprise are Charlie, Cryssa and brother Leo who created the book as a tribute to their mother who passed away not so long ago. She was a wonderful cook and several secret family recipes are also included, hence the book's title.
What of the altruisim, I hear you ask; well, all proceeds from sales will go directly to Foyer de Sion Orphanage in Haiti. All contributors have given their work and their art for free and you can be confident that every penny will go where it is meant to.
There is a link at the bottom of the page so you can see what and who Foyer de Soin is. They have a video, which they request people do not upload to public sites such as youtube, so please view, but respect this.
Piggys Ink hope to publish more books for more good causes in the future, so let's try and make this first a resounding success.
