On October 24, 2008, Desire Street Academy, a New Orleans based private school founded by former NFL player Danny Wuerffel, has invited the author to speak to it's students and staff.

Robert Davis is the author of COP OUT, his memoir about the time he spent twenty two years as a fugitive while living in various woods and forests in Canada and the United States. His second book, co-authored with Dr. Roxanne Davidson, is called Legal Minds, a manual about detecting the signs of bad cops and other law enforcement information.
