Kimberley was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in late 2005.Fibromyalgia is characterized as having wide spread muscle pain and fatigue in the body.There is no cure for this disease and it is estimated that some 6 million Americans suffer from FMS and around 3 percent suffer from Fibromyalgia in the world.“I started writing about Fibromyalgia as an outlet to deal with my own battle with the disease.I now write to give others some hope and inspiration.”
Author Linstruth-Beckom started her writing career in 1982 when her first poem, “My Favorite Color Is Pink”, was published in a local paper.She has published in various genres and “Fibro and Fabulous the Book” is her third book in her series on Fibromyalgia.“I intend to publish a few more books on the subject, like one on Fibromyalgia and pregnancy, because it is so important for people to know that there is life after diagnoses.”
