| Welcome to my Illustrator LIVE series... every day I'll post a new image of the creation of an illustration. This is the final progression of a new painting for my poem: The Ravioli Monster. Tune in tommorrow for LOTS of fun as I start a new illustration! This story is based on a true event when my middle son, Andrew, and I made a trip to the post office. Oh yes, Jenny is a real character, too! You never know when YOU could end up in a rhyming story! |

The Ravioli Monster
Last Tuesday I walked down the block
To buy a stamp or two
I had to mail a letter
And I knew just what to do
But as I reached the postage place
where Jenny takes my mail
I could hear a lot of growls
And a voice began to wail!
I am the Raviolo Monster
And I’ve come to catch you all
I’ll tickle you in every spot
then chase you down the hall!
So I grabbed the handle of the door
And flung it open wide
I had to save Miss Jenny
And the other folks inside.....
