Publishing
Ways To Get Your Self Published Book Into the Public''s Eyes and Hands.

That’s right! Take Your Book down to your local ‘Indie Mom and Pop’s’ coffee shops, and other Specialty/Novelty shops, and then talk to the owners. Ask them if they would like to have a FREE HOUSE COPY of your book to place on their shelf for their patrons to read. Ask The Owner/Manager If They Would like to have a personal copy, signed even Thanking them for allowing you to place your book in their store!!!

Make Some Easy Posters aka (P.O.S.’s) Point Of Sales Signs.

Make as good of a copy as you can afford of the Cover and the back copy, include your picture; (be creative, make your poster clear with ways for people to purchase copies of your book). Let everyone know you are a local Author!
Glue the copies of your poster to clean cardboard or paste board (use spray adhesive, which makes it a little smoother, and then cut to size). Paste on BOTH sides! Of course ask the Owner/Manager if it would be okay to display your P.O.S. sign. Only set up one, don’t be greedy :0)…If you can do more, go for it!

Placement

Place your sign at the front of the store or on the bookshelf or on a table or two, like I said, don’t be greedy, at least not yet. They might want to do some kind of consignment deal???

A couple-a-few different ways to display your P.O.S.’s Signs, is to hang them from the ceiling with fishing wire, (Use a hole puncher to tie the string through, and then fasten it safely to the ceiling. Another is to staple the poster to cardboard tubing and use a longneck beer bottle filled with sand to hold the bottle firmly and place it in a nice spot where the owner/manager tells you to place it. Make Your Sign Eye Level!

Be creative; Fasten a Pocket to Hold 'Biz Cards' onto the Poster, With The Information to View Your Website and Purchase Your Book And Other Merchandise.
