Ode, to "His Final Path”

Washed

Anew

In

His

Blood

I

Am

Yes

Very

verily

Thankful

I also not so long ago

Traveled down this very same path
Until my Spirit Awakened

To the reality of God's Wrath

I fell to my knee's in humiliation

And accepted Jesus Christ again
Although the past cannot be changed

I am Born-Again

Heavens door fell wide open

And touched my very Soul

No recompense just reconciliation

That is Awesome to behold

I have often tried to understand

Just why He saved my life
In a world gone wrong

And justice awry

So much hate and strife

I asked my Savior why

And this is what He said:

Because I have chosen you
You are no longer dead

I still struggle most every day

With things beyond my control
But He is there assuring me

That He will guide me to my goal

I honestly do apologize

For using up so much space
But you inspired me today Phillip
By-my-past

Brought-forward

In-to-my
Face

However
I am a brand new man

Filled with God’s Holy Fire

I will never be the same now

Knowing that Satan is a Liar

Anyone reading this

Can have that same Grace

All you have to do

Is seek Him on your face

When Gods Holy Spirit

Touches “your” very soul

Then “you” will stand in Awe

And He will guide “you” to “your” goal
