Fandangle Magazine Closing

| Fandangle Magazine will cease publication following the December 2007 issue. |
With the arrival of the December 2007 issue, Fandangle Magazine will be closing its virtual doors.
During the last few weeks I've been looking at my life following a major shake-up. I've been examining my priorities, time spent on things, finances, and so on. A few friends have commented to me "When aren't you working?" Before my response was "I love what I'm doing!" but I can't say that anymore.
I've accepted the reality that I am just not having fun creating Fandangle. I don't get that rush of excitement that has always been there and pushed me to create each issue. This was a very difficult decision for me to make, but making it comes with a huge sigh of relief too.
Not all of it will be going away. The writers resources will be moved to my portfolio site and I will most likely expand on it now that the focus will be less on children's writing but on writing in general. I will also maintain an archive of Fandangle Magazine on my children's crafts web sites and the games will be moved to those sites as well as the virtual library.
Thank you so much to each of you for your support. It has been a great run and I've enjoyed working with all the writers and illustrators who have so graciously shared their work with Fandangle. Without you none of this would have been possible.
