For his runner-up award from the National Association of Real Estate Editors, in the category of Best Home Design Feature in a Daily Newspaper, the judges said: “The article is as much about an interesting businessman as it is about a restored bungalow that is a getaway house in the countryside. The house reflects the man and vice versa. This is a nicely descriptive story that lets you dream along with the owners.”
