Release of Next Bicycle Tale

7/3/2009 7:02:00 PM

by Richard A Kirsch

A new adventure whose focus is an Irish immigrant family. The father, Sean is employed by the railroad. We learn about the early railroad in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and, by accident a lot about Rich's Lionel train set.

What do an 1896 Irish immigrant family, a 1946 Lionel O Gauge toy train, a small stone from Pine Woods, and three kids have in common? Being accidentally transported into a Lionel train set is only one of the problems besetting our reluctant heroes, Rich, Mickie, and Bill. No one ever told these kids you can’t ride in your own train set.

With the help of a magical, triangular stone the kids travel through space and time. Eight-thousand-yearold brother and sister, Aralic and Benowin, are inhabitants of Urgin, a ten thousand-year-old sunken continent. They know of Earth’s likely impending doom, and to fend off what “could” happen they enlist the help of Rich, Mickie, and Bill. The kids find the gatekeeper. With the assistance of Aralic and Benowin, they are able to work through the mysterious maze. Twists and turns in the story are only a small part of the excitement in this new adventure. An old foe makes a return appearance to complicate everything.

Look for "The Big One (A Bicycle Tale)" to be released August 29, 2009.  Please visit my website for more information.
